There are two membership catergories for ACE and these are listed below.

Full Membership
Is open to any cultural or heritage organisation which runs a commercial enterprise as part of its not-for-profit activities.

Members include historic houses, royal palaces, libraries, gardens, castles, cathedrals, museums and galleries, archives and visitor centres.

Their activities encompass a wide variety of commercial activities including retail, publishing, licensing, catering, venue hire and corporate events.

ACE has links with visitor attraction, museum and tourism associations in the UK, as well as overseas. Details of these, a list of benefits and a directory of existing members is available (Members Directory).

Associate Membership 
Is open to professional consultants, operators of visitor attractions and suppliers of goods and services to the heritage sector as well as to individuals and overseas cultural organisations.  A list of current Associate members is available in the (Members Directory).
