1 Q What does ACE do?
A ACE is a charitable company which provides a programme of study and training days and a two-day ACE Annual Convention & Exhibition, which also provides excellent networking opportunities.
ACE aims to make this web site increasingly interactive and informative.
ACE collects and provides valuable and accurate data for its members and lobbies funding providers and others. ACE is constantly increasing and improving its activities and welcomes feedback from its members (ace@everyevent.co.uk).
2. Q Is my organisation eligible to join ACE?
A Any cultural organisation, be it museum, art gallery, library, gardens and/or historic sites are eligible for membership of ACE, provided that it has charitable status or is otherwise conducted as a not-for-profit enterprise. Members are represented by a delegate, normally a senior member of trading staff (Join Today). Members currently include historic houses, royal palaces, libraries, gardens, castles, cathedrals, museums and galleries, archives, visitor centres and colleges. 3. Q What do ACE members do?
A Members are involved in a wide range of commercial activities including retail, publishing, licensing, catering, venue hire and corporate events.
There is an increasing number of opportunities for specialists to collaborate, such as the Discussion Board available via this web site, seminars at the ACE Annual Convention.
4. Q What is Associate Membership?
A Associate Membership is open to professional consultants, operators of visitor attractions and suppliers of goods and services to the heritage sector. Associates are warmly invited to take part at ACE’s Annual Convention, general meetings and enjoy other membership benefits. (Join Today)

6. Q Does ACE have connections with other associations?
A ACE has links with museums, visitor attractions and tourism associations (eg ALVA, ASVA, MLA, VisitBritain) and also the Museum Stores Association (MSA) in the US Museum Store Association (MSA) and the Museum Stores Association of Australia (MSAA)
7. Q Who runs ACE?
A ACE is run by its members through an elected Board of Trustees. For further details of tenure etc., please consult the ACE constitution.
Administrative support, including maintenance of the members’ database, organisation of the Annual Convention and Exhibition and the study day programme, is provided by EveryEvent, a specialist events management company (ACE administration).
